The Accommodation Nobody Approved
Formal accommodations go through a process. They get documented, approved, and occasionally ignored.
But most of us are running a second set of accommodations we built ourselves — the calendar block with a fake name on it, the specific chair, the headphones that mean “not now,” the meeting you always take walking.
What’s yours? The unofficial one that does more for your working life than anything HR ever signed off on.
