Our Story

Making work actually work for neurodivergent minds

Our mission is simple: make workplaces survivable, sustainable, and joyful for neurodivergent professionals.

Where it started

Professionally Neurospicy grew from the seemingly random messages between brilliant colleagues who felt out of place at work.

The late-night DMs. The “is this just me?” conversations. The quiet relief of finding someone else who also lost track of a meeting they were in, or who wrote a flawless report at 1 AM and couldn’t reply to a single email at 10.

Those conversations kept happening across companies, industries, and time zones, because too many talented people were burning out trying to survive workplaces that weren’t built with their brains in mind.

So we built a place to have those conversations openly. A place where neurodivergent professionals can swap strategies, share wins, vent frustrations, and remind each other that different doesn’t mean less.

What we stand for

🎭

No Masking Required

This is a place to show up as you actually are. We understand stimming, scripting, hyperfocusing, and we welcome you.

🌱

Survivable First

We prioritize the basics: coping, resting, and just getting through the day, before we talk about thriving.

🔬

Evidence-Informed

We share resources grounded in research while centering lived experience as equally valid knowledge.

🤝

Allies Welcome

Neurotypical allies who show up with humility and curiosity make this community stronger for everyone.

Advocacy-Minded

Individual coping strategies matter, but so does systemic change. We talk about both.

🎉

Actually Joyful

Work doesn’t have to just be tolerable. We believe neurodivergent people deserve careers that light them up.
